Founded in 2020, the school of classical Khmer dance continues the artistic legacy of the late Princess Norodom Buppha Devi, a stellar dancer herself who greatly contributed to the rejuvenation of Cambodian Royal Ballet and the cultural leader.

Every week, more than 150 students, girls and boys, attend for free courses in dance techniques passed down through generations under the guidance of experienced teachers.

They often join recognized artists to perform on Phnom Penh stages and abroad choreographies from the classical repertoire or creations under the Prince Sisowath Tesso's artistic direction.

The school performs twice a week during high season in a venue on Sisowath Quay (Riverside). Read more. [photos via Angkor Database (2022); PBDS (2025)]
